Mark Haywood BE (Mining) Hons, LLB - President, Chief Executive Officer & Director

Mark is a degree-qualified mining engineer and lawyer (University of NSW) with over seventeen years of mining operations and exploration experience throughout Australia, Africa and Asia. His country experience encompasses the Solomon Islands, PNG, Ghana, Guinea, Myanmar and Australia with various companies including Goldfields, BHP, MICCL, Placer Pacific and Ashanti Goldfields. Mark is also Managing director of XDM Resources Limited, director of Pacific Porphyry (SI) Limited and Eastern Porphyry (SI) Limited, and a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Martin Ackland B App Sc (Prim.Met.) - Chairman & Non-Executive Director

Martin is a qualified metallurgist and has spent over forty years in the resources industry in a variety of roles that involved the creation of major resource groups from small capital bases. He was formerly Chairman of Ausenco Limited and founding director of Minproc Holdings Limited, now Ticor Limited. His experience ranges from project development to financing and capital raising in both the project and corporate areas. Martin is currently an executive director of Mineral Deposits Limited, Chairman of XDM Resources Limited, and a director of Pacific Porphyry (SI) Limited, Eastern Porphyry (SI) Limited, and Lodestone Exploration Limited.

Michael Johnston BSc (Geol.), MSc - Non-Executive Director

Mike is a qualified geologist with over twenty years of Asia- Pacific geological experience. He spent eleven years with Placer Dome as Technical Service Manager of the giant Porgera Gold Mine, and then General Manager Exploration for Asia Pacific. Prior to this he worked with Ross Mining, Cracow, Beta Gold and Mineral Resources. Mike joined Nautilus Minerals as the Vice President of Corporate Development after the Barrick takeover of Placer.

Oliver Lennox-King BCom - Non-Executive Director

Oliver has had more than thirty years of involvement in the Canadian mineral industry. He is the current Chairman of Fronteer Development & Aurora Energy and a director of CGX Energy and Mineral Deposits Limited. Oliver is a past director and co-founder of Southern Cross Resources and Pangea Goldfields.
