Mark Haywood BE (Mining) Hons, LLB - President, Chief Executive Officer & Director

Mark is responsible for managing the XDM group's four companies, XDM Resources Inc., XDM Resources Limited, Pacific Porphyry (SI) Limited and Eastern Porphyry (SI) Limited. He was Mine Manager at one of the largest copper mines in Asia before joining the company in early 2006 with over 17 years of Mining Industry experience gained from the Solomon Islands, PNG, Ghana, Guinea, Myanmar and Australia. Mark holds Bachelor degrees in Mining Engineering and Law, and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

Frans Blom CA, CPA, CIA - Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Frans is an Ontario Chartered Accountant and Queen’s University graduate with more than 30 years of hands-on financial, accounting and internal control experience in public and private practice. He has worked predominantly in Europe, the US and Canada, and was a Director in Advisory at PwC with clients from mining, manufacturing, financial, services and automotive industries. Frans also advised on government and ethical issues. Recently he headed up and participated actively in several large SOX and Bill 198 projects. As VP at Philips Electronics (NA), Frans was in general financial management and actively involved in audits, mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, start-up aid, and forensic projects.

Tony Schreck B App Sc, Grad Dip Sc - Chief Geoscientist

Tony has over 17 years of greenfields and brownfields gold exploration and environmental geology in Australia and the South Pacific. He is familiar with copper-gold mineralisation associated with porphyry-epithermal systems having worked for Normandy Mining, North Flinders Mines and Dominion Mining. Tony is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).

Baoro Koraua B.Bus, CPA - General Manager (Solomon Islands)

Baoro is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with more than 25 years of accounting, finance, logistics and project experience. He was educated in Honiara and Australia (Bachelor of Business), and has worked for various international airlines and businesses including Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and the European Union. With previous General Management experience, Baoro is also a Solomon Islander with an extensive knowledge and experience of the region.
